How does on grid solar system working?
The off-grid system is relatively independently. During the day, the solar panels absorb the photons in sunlight and start generating electricity. When these photons are absorbed by the solar panel, it causes electrons to flow freely. This violent vibration of electrons produces direct current (DC).
The DC power can be converted into AC power through off grid inverter for direct use by household loads, and the extra DC power can be used to charge battery through the charge controller as a backup at night or in rainy days.
At night, when the load needs electricity, the DC power stored in the battery is converted into AC power for the load through the inverter.
Most off grid inverters have state grid supplementing function, it means when the power stored in the battery is not enough at night, state grid can directly run the load. Users can also choose to use state grid to charge the battery during low electricity price periods as a backup at night or in rainy days.
