What is an Off-Grid Solar System?
An off-grid solar system, also known as an independent photovoltaic system, is a power generation system that operates independently without relying on the power grid. It is mainly composed of solar panels, energy storage batteries, charge and discharge controllers, and inverters. Solar panels convert light energy into electrical energy, and charge and discharge batteries through charge and discharge controllers. Inverters convert DC power into AC power for use by AC loads.
Working Principle
When there is sunlight, the solar panel converts solar energy into electrical energy, and supplies power to the load through the charge and discharge controller, while charging the battery. When there is no sunlight, the battery is converted into AC power through the inverter to supply power to the AC load.
