This diagram shows clearly the working principle of on-grid system, which is a business model of distributed photovoltaic power generation.
Growatt on-grid inverters can convert the DC power produced by PV modules into AC power for household, commercial or industrial loads. A smart meter can be installed between the inverter and the grid to count the photovoltaic power directly consumed by the user and the power transmitted to the grid, or the reverse power is measured separately and settled at the prescribed on-grid electricity price. Or if you do not need to sell electricity to the grid, but only realize "spontaneous self-use", you need a meter with CT function.
In the meanwhile, Growatt on-grid inverter has Smart Energy Manager which is designed for solar system self-consumption monitoring and export limitation.
